| That's right, I am back and better than ever! A lot of things have changed in the 2 or 3 years since I last posted a journal :)
No Longer In School Yep, graduated from high school roughly a year ago. It was a very proud moment in my life. 13 years of being in the education system now goneskis! I have achieved a lot in my time.
- Academic Achievement - Year 4
- House Captain (of the winning house) - Year 6
- Performed in the Sydney Opera House - Year 6
- 5th Place in Science - Year 7
- Distinction in Australian Computer Competition - Year 8
- First Solo Vocal performance (in front of whole school) - Year 10
- Reuben F Scarf Award for Commitment (given during graduation) - Year 10
- Continued Solo Coal Performances - Year 10-12
- World Youth Day Representative - Year 11
- College Executive Award - Year 12
I couldn't really ask for much more. I had fantastic teachers who had a hand in making me who I am today, from Mrs Frino's musical influence, to Mr Frost's words of wisdom. I also had an ever-changing exceptional group of friends who I could always rely on. I had the same group of Nintendo-loving friends all throughout primary school. In high school, I had a group of friends in year 7 and 8, then changed groups for year 9-11. In year 12, I changed groups again to a younger generation who I could start releasing my influence and experience on.
Now Working Unfortunately for me, I didn't make Uni this year. I tried my hardest and that's all that counts. I am now a check-out guy as Coles Roselands. I work there part time. It is a great place to work, with really friendly staff and an opportunity to make a career. I have made several friends already in my short time working with the company, and am familiar with most of the people who haven't befriended me.
There have also been other going on's as well which I will post at a later stage. | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |
| Well, it has been quite a while since I last logged in to LJ. Just updating, I am now 17 1/4 years old. Why am I on right now u ask?! Anyway, Im very boooored but having heaps of fun at the same time. Please do not tell me how that can happen. Anyway, I would love to hear from some of you!!! | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |

| Sorry that I have not updated my journal lately. I have been pretty busy the last couple of weeks, and had no time to do these things.
I feel sooo helpless at the moment - people are dying in Asia and I really can't do anything about it. I just feel like reaching into the tv news report and giving those aid workers a hand. I am so lucky to be living in a country without devestation, without disaster. Someday I hope that I can help change the world like those courageous aid workers. It is TRULY honourable.
Here is what was keeping me busy:
Event #1 Celebrations: Had a good Christmas and an Alright New Year...though both weren't as exciting this year. Enjoyed the fireworks at Sydney Harbour but was dissapointed that the disco ball didn't do enough. Had lobster salad on both days...mmm :P Celebrated a friend's b'day. That was lots'o'fun and very interesting. Don't like the cricket though. I think of parties as being eat and play Xboxes. Cricket is no fun in parties, especially at 30C temp.
EVENT#2 World Vision Yes guys, Im a member of World Vision Australia. I attended a youth conference called 'planet shakers' on Saturday, helping at World Vision's Child Sponsorship stand. It was very successful and I feel that it was worthwhile to spend my holidays among peers doing it. In the end, 60 new people were sponsoring a child. Met James Wood from MCK at the WV stand too for those of u who know him...
EVENT#3 Webpage Design I just started a detailed personal webpage, scheduled to be published by April. For those of you who actually look at my journal, this should let you know more of who I am and what I am like.
Ok now...that's the update until now...cya l8r! | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |

| Got back from 'Outward bound' at 1530 on friday afternoon. It had been a week of total pain and excitement at the same time. It was hiking for seven days with the occasional abseiling and river rafting. Had foods like cus cus for dinner (or however the hell you spell it) and oats with yogurt for breakfast. Very VERY glad when we stopped off at Maccers (McDonalds) on the way back. So glad to be home now. Had a good rest, playing rugby league on my Xbox. Just about to go to instruct cub scouts at 1900. | Hi there! Just 24 hours ago, I had my second biggest performance so far in my life. I performed in two different choirs in front of thousands of catholic parents of eastern Sydney!
It was such a delightful experience. I sang Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody and someone else's McArthur Park for the combined choir with the best of the best from every school. It was also supported by the combined orchestra, which is also the best of the best - which is why the music they were producing was totally awesome - even better then Queen themselves!
I also performed Josh Groban's You Raise Me Up with my own school choir and orchestra.
Anyway...exams coming up on Monday - Wish me luck!
p.s. The biggest performance of my life was singing for a choir in the Opera House =) | comments: Leave a comment |

| Feeling fine now...don't have the time to feel down. Big year 10 exams coming up next week, really excited about that. It is the second most important exam of schooling in New South Wales, Australia. I found out that I was feeling down a week ago because of a lack of true friends. It is not the case anymore because I managed to strengthen my relationship with a few of them...yay!
Wish me luck for the exams! =) | comments: Leave a comment |
